The original goal of the company was the complete localization of NetWare network operating systems and other network products commissioned by Novell Inc. Subsequently, cooperation with Novell was expanded through the development of special software for localization, testing of Novell network products, localization and long-term support of the www.novell.com website, localization of advertising and educational materials of the corporation. In total, about 50 such projects have been successfully completed for Novell Corporation. Later, RusLAN became a Novell System Integrator, distributing and implementing their products in Russia.
The experience gained became the basis for cooperation between RusLAN and world-class multilingual localization companies: Alpnet, Bowne, Thebigword, LionBridge, UL Group, etc. As part of such cooperation, many projects were successfully completed in various areas:
