Documentation and help translation
Services - Localization - Documentation and help translation

Most often, the translation of documentation and help files is the largest component of the localization of any software product.
Software product documentation is a set of documents supplied in printed or other format that ensures the intended use of the product.
Help or help files are documents in electronic format embedded in modules of a software product.
Our company performs the full range of work related to the localization of these software components.
If the product uses documentation in printed form, we offer not only the translation of text and all graphic materials, but also text formatting and computer layout (Desktop publishing - DTP), including postscripting if necessary: that is, we provide the customer with a product for subsequent printing in print shop or printer.
If the product uses documentation in electronic form, we offer conversion to a special format (SGML/HTML) from text editor formats, as well as the creation of PDF files. In addition, we also localize product videos and animations.
For example, some versions of the Novell NetWare system included both printed and online documentation. We provided printed documents to Novell in PostScript format, which provides direct replication of documents, and electronic documents in formats corresponding to the original - HTML and PDF.
With regard to help files, we provide translation of text snippets and graphics, including used product menus, as well as text formatting, compilation and testing of help files.
Since the quality of materials transferred to customers is our primary concern, we use all means of quality control and testing for this. All localized materials are carefully proofread by experienced linguists, and testers ensure their performance and full compliance with the localized product.
